- Layerable and mixable low/mid-high fire (Cone 06/05-6) Mayco Foundations Series "FN" Opaque Gloss Glazes provide a wide color palette of beautiful, smooth, high-gloss hues at an excellent value for your classroom or home ceramics studio.
- Apply 2-3 coats to Cone 04 bisque, allowing glaze to dry between coats, then fire to Cone 06/05 or higher. Alternatively, apply 2-3 coats to wet/unfired or leather-hard clay, leaving an area like the back or bottom unglazed to allow for outgassing during firing, then fire to Cone 04 when clay is bone dry. Shake glaze for 5-6 seconds before use.
- An essential glaze building block! These basic, "foundation" liquid ceramic pottery glazes are non-flowing and can be used for almost any decorative technique.
